Day 113, 7/27: M-2118, Logan Brook (23mi)

The morning view from Forth Mtn.

This is Zig negotiating the Chairback Mtn rock scramble. The Southbounders were nice enough to warn us about this impending obstacle…I didn’t have the heart to tell them to buckle their seat belts for what’s coming in the next week.

Chairback Mtn views.

One of only two wet river fords we’ve had to do this trip.

The top of White Cap Mtn.

View from the top.

Logan Brook shelter…home for the night.

This was just about 14 hours on the trail today. There were quite a few smaller climbs…4 in the last 5 miles (~3000′). The terrain should be easing up tomorrow…I hope.
